Beginnings. . . (why I started doing this)

The studies were small enough to hold in my lap while I sat on the porch between his naps. Simple. Bright blues, vivid white with a touch of pink and yellow. My vision was limited to reality on so many levels.


I created a dozen or more of these small studies and lined them up above my kitchen cabinets. It lifted my spirits as I saw bright blue skies both day and night. I needed something with color, something that could be construed as remotely happy, something that I had a tiny bit of control over.
